Our Severus Snape page is now, Horcrux-wise, split into two parts: The (Relatively) Benign Years covers our favorite Potions Prof through the first five books, whilst The (Arguably) Malignant Years covers Book Six and beyond, with a particular emphasis on that bit of unpleasantness at the end of Chapter 27, and to speculation as to whether Snape's motivations are best explained in terms of his being ESE, DDM or OFH (or variants/combinations thereof).
